Madagascar or the great Carnival of the chameleons
CHAMELEONS AS NEVER SEEN BEFORE 1 X 52’
If chameleons should have a country, it would undeniably be Madagascar.
The island is home to the largest concentration of chameleons in the world and the greatest diversity: 96 species, all endemic, out of 217 listed. There is an incredible variety of colors, sizes and aspects: helmeted, horned, filiform or colossal... an impressive and unique gallery of portraits in the world, which include some incredible phenomena that can only be found on the island !
But then, why Madagascar, and especially how did they adapt so well in what seems to have been for them a kind of Garden of Eden where they developed better than anywhere else.
This is where our film starts; an epic that begins 20 million years ago, which will lead us from one end of the island to the other to the discovery of these surprising reptiles that do not look like any other and that have managed, to carve out a unique position in the evolution thanks to their incredible performance.
